Author Presentation: A geographer by training and a mountain guide by trade, 39-year-old Sébastien Constant has had numerous articles published in the outdoor press (Alpine, journal, Climber, Climb; AAJ, Montagnes Magazine, Vertical, Trek, etc.) over the last fifteen years. A great aficionado of the Ecrins, Cerces and Queyras Massifs, he divides his time between explorations of the Southern Alps and travels through more distant lands. For over twenty years he has had the good fortune to be able to live and work in what he has long felt to be his spiritual home - the Briançon area.
Sébastien expresses his enthusiasm for the mountains through his climbs and ski descents, as well as through his writings and photographs. The decision to write this book was prompted by a desire to share as widely as possible the secrets hidden in these unspoilt valleys. For Sébastien, preparing this guide has been a true labour of love.
