DANI ANDRADA MASTER CLASS, SHEFFIELD NOVEMBER 10th & 11th, 2007 After much organisation the weekend kicked off at Outside in Hathersage where the winners were met by Dani Andrada, the now confirmed 9b, Boreal sponsored climber. All the winners were expertly fitted with Boreal rock shoes by the staff at Outside and customer's were also able to meet Dani and get poster's signed. From here it was off to the pub for some 'R and R'. On the Sunday morning we met up with everyone in the car park of the hotel and headed to Burbage South. As usual you can plan everything except for wet weather. We decided to head indoors to the Climbing Works in Sheffield for the days Master class. After Dani had shown everyone how to warm up it was down to business. He selected a series of boulder problems of different grades on each angled board and then demonstrated how it was done. As the winners tried each climb he guided them up offering tips and techniques. Between circuits he obviously could not resist the lure of the competition wall where he demonstrated his own talent and lived up to his reputation. Following a short food and coffee break it was back to the boards for the final push of the session. With one last group photograph and after nearly five hours of climbing the day came to an end, or maybe finger's did. The day was a great success. Bring on the next one ............
