BLOK TEAM Vorig jaar in september besloten de mensen van Klimzaal Blok, Belgie's oudste boulderzaal, om een heus boulder-team op te starten onder de naam Blok Team. Dit team bestaat uit 8 mannen, allen 7B en meer waard en 2 vrouwen 7A en meer waard. Doel van dit team is het participeren in alle nationale, enkele internationale en op termijn wereldbekerwedstrijden en uiteraard hier veel plezier aan te beleven en goede resultaten te behalen. Zij trainen dan ook bijna altijd samen, gaan samen op klimvakantie en worden bijgestaan door een professionele personal trainer om zo hun niveau te verhogen en zichzelf te verbeteren in de sport die we gerust onze passie kunnen noemen. In het afgelopen najaar hebben de mensen van het Blok Team dan ook goede resultaten behaald op diverse wedstrijden, de heren waren altijd allemaal bij de top 15 en de vrouwen steeds bij de top 5. Een team als dit kan natuurlijk niet fungeren zonder sponsors en wij waren dan ook zeer blij dat Boreal ons hierin wou steunen. . BLOK TEAM The people of Klimzaal Blok, Belgium's first and oldest Boulderhall, decided to start a real boulder-team under the name of Blok Team last September 2006. This team contains 8 men, 7B worthy and more and 2 women, 7A worthy and more. General purpose of this team is to participate in all national, some international and in the future worldcup competitions, earning good results and of course having loads of fun in the process. They try to train together all the time, go on climbingvacations together and are guided by a professional personal trainer to achieve their higher goals in this marvellous sport that we can easily call our mutual passion. In all competitions last year they achieved real good results, men always in the top 15 and women always in the top 5.
